We are excited to welcome Dr. Jeffrey Farricielli to Trident Pain Center officially on September 1st!
Dr Jeffrey Farricielli M.D, ABPMR is a graduate of Saba University School of Medicine in 2009. He trained in Internal medicine at the University of Florida Shands Hospital and in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Texas Southwestern School of Medicine.
Dr. Farricielli started his medical career as a Chiropractor. Upon graduating from Chiropractic school in Los Angeles California he worked in Italy as a Chiropractor for 4 years. Upon his return to the states in 1993 he created Beverly Hills Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Center in Beverly Hills California. The center combined Functional Medicine, Yoga, massage, Pilates, diet, acupuncture, and physical therapy in a unique setting. It became the largest most popular of its kind in the city. This experience has had a profound effect on the way he practices medicine today.
Dr. Farricielli practice specializes in Regenerative Medicine which provides cell-based treatments for common orthopedic injuries and degenerative joint conditions. Stem cell and Platelet Rich plasma treatments are cutting edge technology which allows doctors to move cells from one area of a patient’s body and place them where they are needed to promote healing, mobility, and pain relief.
In addition Dr. Farricielli also treats neck and back pain with utilizing radiofrequency neurotomy,, spinal cord stimulator trials, epidural and facet injections for neck and back pain, as well as treatments for upper and lower extremity pain. Dr, Farricielli utilizes BOTOX® for neurological conditions such as cervical dystonia, stroke spasticity, facial spasms and chronic migraine.
Dr Farricielli is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is a Fellow of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is presently a board member of the South Carolina branch of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, member of AAPMR, and The Pain Society of the Carolinas. He is on staff at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center where he is adjunct instructor for the internal medicine residency program.
